It's a beautiful place to fly.
Shoved into the ambulance with all our gear.
This was just one of the 6 - 30 minutes rides I took within 24 hours that day.

Here is a picture of my medic, Eric Froerer, from the Saturday night shift. This is his last shift with AirMed and it is surely a loss for our program. Fifteen years on the job. Such an amazing guy, so nice. He just happen to be there for my first flight ever and first flight by myself and my first helicopter shuttle. He will always be more then a little special to me. I was thrilled when I found out I was working with him and we had an excellent night!

It was really the highlight of my non-patient contact part of my career. I felt way more badass then I deserve...that is for certain!

Jet cars. Loud and bright.
Mater car. Way awesome! We were so close I felt the jet engines in my whole body.
Eric showing me the video he took. Yes, he is missing part of his arm and has a hook. I forget he has it because he is so awesome with it. As far as I know there is nothing he can't do with it. Even hold his phone...
