It was a blog about running. Now it’s just a place to put my thoughts on my grandson (he’s perfect), being a flight nurse (yippee!), traveling and running. Hoping to throw down a 50 miler ultra before I’m too old.
This was the first thing I thought this morning when I woke up. I have never been this sore after a race. Am I getting too old? Does pushing myself make that big of a difference? Wow.
Nah, you just need to race more. I always hurt more 2 days after a race. You should get out for a short jog tomorrow. Just 2-3 miles. You'll be fine. Hydrate well :)
No, not old. Just means you actually "raced" yesterday! So yeah, pop that ibuprofen like candy! (just kidding)
