I am sick of my left foot!

My insert final fitting was last month. I do love the inserts and they really do help the pain. I went to Lake Powell and was unable to wear my shoes for most of the trip and my foot is not feeling very good right now. I can't tell what the problem is. It doesn't hurt in shoes, but any barefoot is very painful. Today I am getting a mani-pedi, which means a day in flip flop. It may be an ibuprofen day!!

In order to wear shoes all the time I bought me a pair of "house shoes". They are from the clearance rack at Famous Footwear and they are a men's shoe. I love them and they are comfortable, but wearing shoes in the house goes against everything! I feel claustrophobic and more clumsy then usual when I wear them. I have to say, that my foot loves them and when I'm doing lots of housework they are a life saver.

Will this drama never end???

Happy Birthday ME!

For my actually birthday on June 16th, Matt took me and my kids to dinner at Market Street. It was delicious!! Then I was able to open my present from Matt....Ohhhh I was excited!!
I am now the proud owner of a Wii and a Wii Fit! I love it. It really is fun, even if the game gives you "hints" about fitness that I you don't want to hear. Apparently "Balance" is not my forte. So when I trip over cords, lines, Kleenex, my shoes and invisible tripping devices, you will know why.

Thank you Matt!!! I love you!! Hopefully this will pay off with a better balanced wife!

My only excuse is 4 days in Powell and then coming home to work for a week straight. Today I feel as if I forgot to step out of the way as a truck went by. Work is certainly a very physical job, if nothing else.

My brother Dave and his wife, Melissa, welcomed their new son! Little Man isn't his name, but I haven't heard of what their final choice is. I want him to be Ben. I don't think that's going to happen.

LAKE POWELL: Good clean fun and frolic.

Sami and I on the houseboat. Yeah, that's a Twilight book in my lap. I promised Sami that I would read them a year ago. I started on a Thursday in Lake Powell and was done with the first three books before I went back to work the next Tuesday.
