My first 10K

I planned and signed up as soon as I could and then I got really nervous!  Matt drove us to Moab and his parents met us there.  Nate and Rani made a delicious carb loading spaghetti dinner topped off with some ice cream!  nummy!

Nate, Matt's brother, is great at organizing garbage and making pasta!

It was a blast and I'm hoping to run a half-marathon sometime in 2011.  This running thing is pretty fun, although the training can bite.  Oh, and that part about feeling like I was going to die at the end.

Moab - Dead horse Point!

On our last night there, we packed up Nate and Rani and they packed up a picnic, and headed to Dead horse point. We wanted to see the sunset from such a beautiful place.

Once we got off the freeway, Sami sat up with me, leaving more room in the back. Of course we took silly pics!

Moab - Finding Refreshing!!

At the end of the long hike, Nate and Rani took us to this wonderful fresh spring. It was really COLD, but felt so good!!! There were waterfalls and streams and the greatest cold pool ever!
